Fix the House Now (“the site,” “we,” “us”) is a one-person, all-volunteer effort to promote smaller U.S. congressional districts. This page explains what information the site collects, how it’s used, and your choices.
What we collect
If you use the Get Involved form, we collect the name, email address, and any message you choose to submit. That information is sent to info@fixthehousenow.com and stored in this site’s admin area so we can follow up with you. We do not collect payment information anywhere on this site, and we are not asking for donations.
If you leave a comment on the site, WordPress stores the name, email, and content you provide, and sets a cookie to remember that information for your next comment. Comments are held for review before they appear publicly.
If you tell us you wrote to your state legislators (on the Take Action page), we store your name, state, which legislators you wrote to and, only if you give it, your email. We publish only totals by state. We never publish names or share your information.
Cookies
This site runs on WordPress, which uses a small number of “strictly necessary” cookies — for example, to keep you logged in if you have an account, or to remember your name and email if you choose to when leaving a comment. These cookies don’t track you across other websites.
We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or social media tracking cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated first, and where required by law we’ll ask for your consent before those cookies are set.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone. We don’t share it with advertisers. We use it only to respond to you and to track interest in this campaign.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing info@fixthehousenow.com. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA, and EU/EEA residents have rights under the GDPR; both are honored on request, using the same contact.
